In a few turns, I will be able to sell people Rings of Wizardry crafted at a 50% discount. Anyone care to offer a bid? I needs me some major Astral income, and I'll only be able to make 1 ring per turn.

Turn sent.

I'll be willing to buy those once I have a few turns of not emptying my pearl stocks in a row.

Yeah, got all 6 other turns loaded and I'll be ready to go very soon after I get the last 2h file.

Yeah - I was waiting for a diplomatic response, but I figure I am being ignored strategically. Turn in.

Huh, there must have been a PM error, unless you're talking about someone else.

Hey guys, big news. In-game Christmas is canceled. Why, you ask? Because Pangaea is the Grinch. They just marched right over the borders and shanked my homies. From now on, the only peeps who get significant Imbolc gifts are the ones I have specifically allied with. Good news for the people I'm selling stuff to, I suppose.

If someone messes Pangaea up, they will be richly rewarded. I can make artifacts, and I am willing to give the best ones I can get to anyone willing to teleport into Pangaea's territory and set their thatched-roof cottages on fire.

Turn 32: (new host, mediafire being lame)
http://rapidshare.com/files/433500545/D ... _trn32.zip

By the way, Frank, your diplomats suck. Disregarding the whole historical revisionism going on with my ongoing pledge of nonaggression to the world at large (which I made in response to your nonaggression pact request), there's the matter of the incredible vagueness with which terms are presented. "We want that island, the one near the bridge." In a world filled with both bridges and islands, this does not slice the proverbial mustard.

Arcoscephale refuses to discuss terms with fellow nations who use such insufferable vagueness in their communication. Send us a communiqe drafted by someone other than a buffoon, preferably with pictures so our more eccentric philosophers can understand it. Publically viewable is even better. If we are offered sufficient reparations for this heinous assault, Soulforger may be willing to withdraw the global bounty on Pangaea.

------------------------------

Composing a "Nation Intruder" song in honor of the occasion

They're climbin' over your borders,
They're snatchin yo' provinces up,
Tryin' to rape 'em so y'all need to
hide your kids, hide your wife,
hide your kids, hide your wife,
hide your kids, hide your wife,
and hide your husband, cause them maenads are rapin' everybody out here

you don't have to come and confess, we got a PM,
[in progress section]
[transition to an Arco mage]
I got this message from some idiot in the Pangaea diplomatic core
[backup singers]
so dumb, so dumb, so so dumb

It's a work in progress.

I offically hate the gem use AI. If the power of the spheres had actually fired on schedule instead of being plowed into communion master, then things might have gone a bit differently.

Wow, my prophet is sitting on a 50 Strength (from hall of fame bonus). I did not even notice that.

Also, here is a part of why I'm so insistent on continuing the war with Ermor:

Afraid of Master Enslave? Hate to break it to you but like half the nations in the game can do that with boosters and Communions (assuming research).

That's not actually what I'm worried about. I'm more worried about wish, which even I can't do without the dimensional rod or empowerment.

Wish is not too scary. I mean, I once destroyed a 30 man game with it, but I didn't actually win.

Wishing up artifacts is neat, but there aren't any that'd I call game changers (even the artifacts that can only be gained with Wish).

Even wishing up SCs is not that hot. Wishing up gems is kinda neat, and wishing up blood slaves is a great for a one-time boost to starting up a blood economy, but there aren't a lot of great options.

I guess wishing for magic power is kinda neat for peeps that want to forge things, but after you've spent several hundred astrals getting your magic up you are stuck still not winning the game.

If the fact you're afraid I might be able to cast wish the is reason you are persecuting me, I'm going to /cry. :D

Ermor can't clam. At least, not unless you have some enchantresses inside your borders.

Well, okay, it's also the lead in income, provinces, and forts.

All this is irrelevant compared to end game magics, which I don't have access to because I cannot clam, nor am I doing enough research.

While I could, technically, with some research I haven't done and am a long way off from cast wish, I could do it once, because I haven't got any clams.

Frank, as just one example, is much more dangerous because he has a luck domain, more research than me and the second highest gem income... behind Mictlan, who has the ACTUAL highest gem income and more research than me. Fuck Vanhiem has more gems and more research to than me.

I cannot summon a legion of wrights with weapons of sharpness, and have no practical counter against them. I am a lonnngggggggg way from the most dangerous participant in the game.

Sure I have a huge quantity of turf, but it's not what you've got, it's your ability to use it.

In a way, it's just classic - you're attacking a total scrub who is leading on a few obvious indicators of power while ignoring the two most experienced players in the game who are outstripping me greatly on the more subtle measure of power.
